Pastors Encourage Prayer Warriors at "Salem in One Accord" Worship and Prayer Service.

Salem, Massachusetts. About 80 believers from Salem Churches gathered Friday evening at “Salem In One Accord Worship and Prayer Service.”  This was the second meeting of its kind held at the Ministerios Conquista and Christian Renewal Church building.

The emphasis of this meeting was the invitation: “Let’s invite God to transform our city.” Christians from the city of Salem joined in a powerful prayer time following 30-40 minutes of worship. Lou Badolato, Pastor of North Shore Rock Church, opened the prayer time by inviting people to come forward and lead the congregation in prayer.  He then set the microphone on a table near the front of the sanctuary. One by one, people came forward, took the microphone and prayed.

Many prayers asked God to cover the city with His Holy Spirit. Others ask Him to bring about a sudden change to Salem that would usher in a great revival. Some asked God to completely transform the hearts and minds of believers and use them to reach lost and hurting people with the love of Christ. Still others asked God for miracles of healing and salvation.

All during the prayer time, a joyful noise rose continuously from the audience, rising and waning in response to the prayers being spoken. At times the noise and

shouts reached a beautiful crescendo that, although seemingly un-orchestrated, created, none-the-less, a harmonious, electrifying atmosphere that inspired and encouraged all present.

Many fell to their knees and began praying and glorifying God. The love and unity being demonstrated by so many believers from such a wide cross-section of churches of the city gathered in one place, at one time, was a great inspiration to behold.

The worship was led by the combined Worship Teams of Ministerios Conquista and Christian Renewal and augmented by the wonderful dancers of Ministerios Conquista, who elevated the beauty of the service in their colorful costumes and with their bright flags. This set a wonderful mode that was conducive to praise and reverence for God.

Pastor Badolato closed the service by asking for continuing prayer for the city of Salem. Pray warriors and intercessors are encouraged to speak with him or their own pastor in the next few weeks.

Following the meeting, there was a spontaneous time of friendly greeting and warm embraces that filled the air with much warmth and excitement as the unity within the Body of Christ was clearly evident throughout the evening.
