GIDEON'S  ARMY

We need 300 men & women to take back

Massachusetts colleges for the Kingdom. 

The intercessors for this powerful prayer initiative are being lead 

by God into what we're calling "Gideon's Army."  

"And the Lord said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand..." (Judges 7:7).

Each member of Gideon's Army is invited to continue praying for their college daily and raise up people to join them.  If intercessors in other states want to pray for their colleges, just let us know at collegeprayers@aol.com. We're building a prayer shield to protect them also. 

Gideon's Army will:

  • Work in small groups of 2 or 3 believers per group.

  • Walk, use car, train or buses to reach the colleges.

  • Learn about the history of the college or even the city or region before going on campus..

  • Enter the college campuses God leads them to pray for. If the doors are closed they will pray at the main door or gate.

  • Anoint and dedicate (or re-dedicate) to the Lord "key locations," such as: gates, churches, chapels, administration buildings, dorms, libraries, classrooms, auditoriums, student unions and places God shows them.

  • Pray for key leaders, learn their names and make a list of these names.

  • Find out who are the Christian leaders on the campus and if they have regular prayer meetings, Bible studies, and worship times.

  • Take pictures on campus when possible.

  • Ask the Holy Spirit to help them Identify and pray against evil-doings and sins in the surrounding area of the college, town or city (e.g. crimes, suicide, rape, etc.)

  • Pray the Scriptures - Ezekiel 37, Psalm 24, and others the Holy Spirit illuminates over the campus..

  • Invite the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to come, take over the college campuses, sending transformation and revival.

  • Read " The College Covenant" and "Proclamation" (provided by Joshua Project.)

  • IF POSSIBLE: Pray at the doors of City Hall and Town Hall.  If members of Gideon's Army are in the vicinity of the State capital, they could anoint and pray at the State House. (NOTE: Please inform Joshua Project leadership.).

  • Write brief reports about their prayer initiatives.
